課題で英語のレポートを出さなければならないのですが、
僕の拙い英語力では全く自信がありません。
もしよろしかったらチェックをしていただけないでしょうか。
三単現や複数形sとか、theとaの違いとかは構いません。
外人の先生なので「この英文はちょっと通じないんじゃ
ない？」という文章を教えていただけると幸いです。
まず、日本語で文章を書いて、その後英語に訳しました。
でも、提出するのは英語の部分だけなので、英語の部分に
おかしいところがなければOKです。
長いので、一部でも結構です。
おそらく変なところだらけでしょうけど、
ひとつよろしくお願いします。

一般にはインターネットが発展することによって、
在宅勤務が可能となる、といわれているが、私はそうは思わない。
人と人とのコミュニケーションはそう簡単になくなることはないだろう。
つまりインターネットが変革をもたらす分野と、そうならない分野が
あるということである。
It is said that the progress of Internet will make that we don't
have to go to company for work every day. But I don't think so.
The human communicatoin will not disapear.
That is , there is some categoly Internet will change,
and other Internet will not change.
面と向かって話せばすぐに伝わるのに、
声や文字だけだと意志の疎通がうまくいかない。
これは声のイントネーションやアクセント、
ジェスチャーなどを欠くと、より細かな情報を
伝えることができないからである。
Talking face to face, it is easy to understand
between them. But with only character or voice,
it is hard to understand.
Because of lack of voice intonation and gesture,
it is hard to communicate more detailed information.
メールを例に、インターネットのメリット・デメリットを
具体的にあげてみる。
I'll give example of mail system as merits and demerits of
Internet.
メリットは
・即時性。電話よりは遅いが手紙よりは早い。
・その場にいなくても、後から届いたメールを読むことができる。
・デジタルデータとして残るので、保存性が高い。
・他人数に同じものを出すことができる。ToやCcヘッダに複数のメール
アドレスを書くことによって、他人数に同内容のメールを出すことが
できる。
・工夫をすることで、毎日自動的にメールを出したり、送られてきた
メールの内容にしたがって返信することができる。
The merits are
* Immediacy. The speed of transmission on Internet is slower than
it of the telephone, but faster than if of the letter.
* When a mail received, we don't have to be there.
We can read mail later.
* It remains digital data.
* Describing more than one mail address in To header or Cc header,
We can send mails to many people.
* Computer can handle mail automatically, for example,
to sending mail everyday, to reply according to contents
of mail sent.

デメリットは
・メールがいつ届いたが知ることができない。
・相手が本当にメールを読んだかを知ることができない。
・コンピュータの操作にある程度慣れていないと扱えない。
・情緒がない。
The demerits are
* Cannot know when mail received.
* The sender cannot know whether receiver read mail.
* To treat mail system, It is neseccery to get used computer
* Lack of emotion.

コンピュータの操作は昔に比べると簡単に
なったとはいえ、まだ初心者にとっては
難しいものである。実際には、メールに関する基礎的な操作を
教えるのはそれほど難しくない。
しかし「コンピュータは難しい」と思っている
人はコンピュータに触れることさえ、非常に恐れる。
彼らにコンピュータやインターネットを使わせる
ことは非常に難しい。
Manipulating computer have been easyer.
But for beginners it is hard to manipulate
computer even now.
In fact, it is not difficult to teach basical
operation about mail to beginners.
But who think it is too hard to use computer
is afraid to touch computer even.
it is very difficult to make them use computer.
情緒がない、というのは重要である。
電話より手紙を、ワープロ文字より手書きを好む人は年配を中心として
いまだに多い。彼らにとってはメールは心がこもっていないのであろう。
Lack of emotion is important.
There are many people to like the letter than telephone,
and hand free character than typewriter character.
Especially, older people.
I suppose that they feel no heart from Internet mail.
メールのメリットは全家庭をネットワークでつながなければ
ならないほど重要なわけではない。実際、インターネットにつながって
いない家庭はたくさんあるが、普通に生活していける。
There are many merits of mail.
In actually, there are many home not connecting to
the Internet, they can live normally.
こららの点により、メールやwebは企業内では業務連絡などには
重要だろうが、一般家庭ではそれほど重要ではない。
Mail and web is very important in company, but not important in
family use.
しかし娯楽としてインターネットを利用する人は増えると思われる。
近年、ポケベルやPHSなど、新しいコミュニケーションの取り方が
人気である。インターネットを使うと、メール、チャット、BBS、
Net Newsなどの文字だけのコミュニケーションができ、
自分のwebを持つことで自己主張が可能になる。
But hobby users will increment.
Recently, new communication tool have been
popular such as pocket bell and PHS.
To use Internet , we can experient character only
communication with mail , chat , BBS and net news etc.
And we can argue one's opinion on my web.
インターネットでのオンラインショッピングは一部においては
発展するだろうが、そうならない分野もある。
Some category of online shopping will become major,
but other will not.
ウィンドウショッピングという言葉があるように
(和製英語かもしれないが)、ショッピングをする
こと自体に楽しさがあるという面を見逃してはならない。
洋服や家具、アクセサリーなどは実際に見てみないと良さ
を判断できないことが多い。
一方、コンピュータなどはカタログスペックが重要で、
見ためはそれほど評価の対象とならない。こういう物は
オンラインショッピングではよく扱われる商品となるだろう。
There is word `window shopping'.
To see any exhibit is very enjoyable.
It is hard to judge good poing of clothes,
furnitures , and accessory without look it
in practice.
On the other hand, performance of computer is
important ,but looking is not important.
these goods are treated often in online shopping.
また、現在はインターネットを流れるデータは中継ホストが
パケットを見ようとすれば見られるので、セキュリティ面で不安がある。
よってクレジットカード番号など、他人に見られてはいけない
データを流すには不安がある。
Now, data transmit on Internit is unsafty.
because intermediary host can see these data.
It is anxiously to transmit secret data such
as credit card number on Internet.
しかしIPの後継プロトコルとなるIPv6では、パケット自体に
セキュリティ機構が盛り込まれているので、将来的にはこの
問題もなくなるだろう。
But in IPv6 following IP, packet transmitting on Internet
will be more secure. In the future, Internet will be safty.
現在では、PGPなどのシステムを使うことにより、
安全にデータのやりとりができる。これは暗号鍵と
復号鍵を別々に使い、鍵自体をインターネット上に
流す必要がないシステムである。現在の
インターネットでは、重要なデータはPGPを使って
暗号化することが最も安全な方法である。
Nowadays, we can exchange data safety,
PGP system. PGP is use tw key, encryped key
and decryped key. It is not necessary transmit
key itself on Internet.
It is most safety way to using PGP system
about transmission important data on Internet.
また、コンサートのチケットや航空券の予約などはオンライン
でできるようになるだろう。予約を取るときに、どの席が
空いているかを調べ、好きな席を選ぶことができると
便利である。
The concert ticket ,airplain ticket will be
able to reserve online. It is convenience to
that when reservation , check vacant seat and
reserve seat we like.
