pingの応答を書きます。
98から98，PC/ATからPC/ATの場合は，いづれも
reply from 192.168.0.100(101) bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=32
reply from 192.168.0.100(101) bytes=32 time
reply from 192.168.0.100(101) bytes=32 time
reply from 192.168.0.100(101) bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=32
です。time=** はpingを打つ毎に毎回変化します。
それで，お互い相手のマシンにpingを打つと，
Destination host unreachable
Destination host unreachable
Destination host unreachable
Destination host unreachable
と出てきて，サブネットマスクを変更してみると
request timed out
request timed out
request timed out
request timed out
とメッセージが出ます。
ケーブルの断線ですが，HUBに繋ぐと，linkのランプは
灯っています。
